Superleague top team - Khimik (23-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Ferro-ZNTU (10-11) in Yuzhny 116-56. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Ferro-ZNTU. The game without a history. Khimik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 94 of its points in the paint compared to Ferro-ZNTU's 24. Khimik forced 28 Ferro-ZNTU turnovers and outrebounded them 42-20 including a 27-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 38 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Ferro-ZNTU's players. Khimik brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. It was a good game for Viacheslav Petrov (203-94) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 4 assists.
