The game with biggest result difference took place in Istanbul. Local Fenerbahce (12-4) beat 10th ranked Orduspor (6-10) 73-56. It looked good early as Orduspor took an 2-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Fenerbahce had a 25-18 second period charge getting the lead and Orduspor was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 56-73. They outrebounded Orduspor 41-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by the former international center Quanitra Hollingsworth (196-88, college: VCU) who scored that evening 13 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian guard Miljana Bojovic (181-87) supported her with 15 points and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds by Montenegrin power forward Iva Perovanovic (188-83) did not help to save the game for Orduspor. Naturalized American swingman Bahar Ozturk (183-84, college: Connecticut, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 19 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Orduspor's coach Alper Durur rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Fenerbahce maintains third position with 12-4 record having just two points less than leader Galatasaray, which they share with Istanbul Univ. Orduspor at the other side keeps the tenth place with ten games lost. Fenerbahce's next round opponent will be Adana ASKI (#5) in Mersin. Orduspor will play at home against Botas (#6) and hope to win that game.
