NBL top team - Neftochimic (13-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Rilski Sportist (3-13) in Burgas 90-56. The game without a history. Neftochimic led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Rilski Sportist's 34. Neftochimic forced 23 Rilski Sportist turnovers and outrebounded them 40-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The winners were led by American guard Charel Allen (181-86, college: Notre Dame) who scored that evening 14 points and 7 assists and the former international center Vera Perostiyska (195-82, college: FIU) supported her with 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Four Neftochimic players scored in double figures. Neftochimic's coach Detcho Koeshinov felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 16 points and 5 rebounds by the former international center Aleksandra Delcheva (202-87, agency: Promotex) did not help to save the game for Rilski Sportist. Swingman Teodora Dineva (178-96) added 13 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Neftochimic have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-3 record. Rilski Sportist lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with 13 games lost. Neftochimic will play against Dunav 8806 (#3) in Ruse in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Rilski Sportist will play at home against Levski and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
