The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Don Bosco Bamberg. They keep a position of South leader. Loser Speyer / Schifferstadt keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. Don Bosco Bamberg will face ASC Theresianum Mainz (#5) at home in the next round. Speyer / Schifferstadt will play against the league's second-placed Gruner Stern Keltern and hope to win that game.
