Second Stage Round 5: SDYUSHOR-4 - Kondicioner 77-40

Leader SDYUSHOR-4 blasted bottom-ranked Kondicioner (0-4) in Mykolaiv 77-40 on Sunday evening keeping the perfect record after 5 rounds. Kondicioner is still unable to win any game. The game was mostly controlled by SDYUSHOR-4. Kondicioner was better in fourth quarter 20-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Kondicioner to just 6 points in third quarter and to 14 points in first half. SDYUSHOR-4 held Kondicioner to an opponent 20.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 34.0 percent accuracy of the winners. SDYUSHOR-4 forced 28 Kondicioner turnovers and outrebounded them 62-49 including a 23-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. SDYUSHOR-4 looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Kondicioner's players. Guard Natalia Veselova (172-97) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 17 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners and power forward Yulia Bohatyuk (184-97) chipped in 19 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Olesiya Litvin (173-87) responded with 13 points and 7 rebounds and forward Yulia Moskalets (180-81) scored 6 points and 13 rebounds. SDYUSHOR-4 (2-0) moved-up to third place in League. Loser Kondicioner still closes the standings with four games lost. SDYUSHOR-4 will face Univer (#8) in Ternopil in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
