2.Bundesliga top team - Veilchen (13-4) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat sixth ranked Lichterfelde (9-8) 61-51. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lichterfelde. The game was mostly controlled by Veilchen. Lichterfelde managed to win third quarter 14-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Lichterfelde to just 6 points in second quarter. The best player for the winners was American guard Monique Smalls (168-91, college: Texas Tech) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists.
