Second Stage Round 10: Silute - Rasai 77-91

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 5th ranked Silute's (12-22) home loss to fourth ranked Rasai (15-18) 77-91 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Rasai. Silute was better in fourth quarter 26-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Center Karolis Guscikas (205-92) fired 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Forward Valdemaras Savostjanovas (200-84) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Five Rasai players scored in double figures. Forward Edvinas Alunderis (202-92) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds and guard Evaldas Saulys (195-93) added 20 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Rasai maintains fourth position with 15-18 record. Loser Silute keeps the fifth place with 22 games lost. Rasai will face Vilniaus (#5) in Vilnius in the next round.
