Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both thirteenth ranked Oradea and 12th ranked Craiova had identical 3-21 record. This time Oradea used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Craiova 77-63. The game was mostly controlled by Oradea. Craiova was better in third quarter 22-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Craiova 46-22 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a very good performance for American guard Fila Smith (173, college: Savannah St.) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Her fellow American import Tanisha McTiller (172-92, college: Towson) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Swingman Irina Bors (178-88) answered with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and Serbian Marija Radovic (186-91) added 7 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Craiova. Oradea (4-21) moved-up to twelfth place. Craiova lost their ninth game in a row. They dropped to the thirteenth position with 22 games lost. Oradea's next round opponent will be higher ranked Galati (#8) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Craiova will play against Alba Iulia (#4) having rather not much hope for a victory.
