The game between Top Four teams took place in Ponte de Sor. Second ranked host Electrico FC (13-3) defeated 4th placed Terceira (8-7) 80-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Terceira. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 17-13. But Terceira won second period 17-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Electrico FC made 32-of-42 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game, while Terceira only scored sixteen points from the stripe. Terceira was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Five Electrico FC and four Terceira players scored in double figures. Electrico FC have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 13-3 record having just three points less than leader FC Porto. Terceira at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Academia. Electrico FC will play against Academia (#5) in Lisboa in the next round. Terceira will play on the road against Ginasio in Figueira da Foz and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
