The most important game in the last round took place in Lemvig between third ranked Stevnsgade (1-3) and fourth ranked Lemvig (1-3) on Saturday night. Stevnsgade was crushed by Lemvig on the road 50-84. The game without a history. Lemvig led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Stevnsgade to just 5 points in third quarter. Lemvig held Stevnsgade to an opponent 20.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.7 percent accuracy of the winners and made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. Lemvig outrebounded Stevnsgade 56-37 including a 44-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of U.S. Virgin Islands-American swingman Natalie Day (182-90, college: Portland) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points and 17 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws). American guard Joanna Miller (173-91, college: Grambling St.) contributed with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Lemvig players scored in double figures. American forward Jordan Sullivan (188-91, college: Montana) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Ida Pretzmann (178-90, college: TCU) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Stevnsgade. Stevnsgade's coach Igor Gavrilovic gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Lemvig left bottom position moving up to third place in Places 1-4, which they share with defeated Stevnsgade. Lemvig is looking forward to face Falcon (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Stevnsgade will play against the league's leader Amager and is hoping to win this game.
