Leader Don Bosco Bamberg delivered the seventeenth victory. This time they beat 5th ranked ASC Theresianum Mainz (11-7) 70-55. It looked good early as ASC Theresianum Mainz took a 11-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Don Bosco Bamberg took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 15 points. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ASC Theresianum Mainz to just 7 points in second quarter. They outrebounded ASC Theresianum Mainz 48-27 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Lyndi Thorman (190-90, college: UTSA) notched 13 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import guard Jessica Miller (173-88, college: Ill.-Chicago) supported her with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Don Bosco Bamberg's coach Steffen Dauer used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 15 points and 7 rebounds by forward Lilian Koch (180-90) did not help to save the game for ASC Theresianum Mainz. Canadian guard Lauren Mortier (175-89) added 14 points. Don Bosco Bamberg (17-1) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position in South. ASC Theresianum Mainz at the other side keeps the fifth place with seven games lost. Don Bosco Bamberg's next round opponent will be TSV Amicitia (#10) in Viernheim and are hoping to win another game.
