BC Timisoara managed to secure a 9-point victory 88-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Pitesti. It looked good early as Pitesti took a 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then BC Timisoara had a 25-18 second period charge getting the lead and Pitesti was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 79-88. Serbian forward Mirko Kovac (199-83) added 15 points for the guests. BC Timisoara moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Oradea and Pitesti. BC Timisoara's next round opponent will be higher ranked U-Banca TR (#3) in Cluj and it may be the game of the week.
