Second Stage Round 4: Falcon - Aabyhoj 60-80

An interesting game for Aabyhoj (2-0) which played road game in Falcon against 3rd ranked Falcon (0-3). Top-ranked Aabyhoj had an easy win 80-60. The game was mostly controlled by Aabyhoj. Falcon managed to win fourth quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by American point guard Nicole Ballestero (173-92, college: Vanguard) who scored that evening 24 points and 5 steals and guard Sofie Preetzmann (180-95) supported her with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Four Aabyhoj players scored in double figures. Even 22 points and 7 rebounds by guard Sarah Mortensen (183-97) did not help to save the game for Falcon. Guard Elisabeth Hansen (176-93) added 16 points and 4 steals for lost side. Aabyhoj maintains first position in Places 5-7 with 2-0 record. Loser Falcon still closes the standings with three games lost. Aabyhoj will meet league's second-placed SISU in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Falcon will play against Lemvig and hopes to get finally their first victory.
