Regular Season Round 23: Horsens IC - SISU 93-68

Ligaen top team - Horsens IC (20-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked SISU (9-14) 93-68. The game without a history. Horsens IC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Horsens IC forced 19 SISU turnovers. It was a great evening for Bosnian swingman Vedran Borovcanin (199-85) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Skyler Bowlin (190-89, college: Missouri So.) helped adding 20 points. Four Horsens IC players scored in double figures. American guard Darryl Partin (198-87, college: Boston U.) responded with 21 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and the other American import forward Joe Benjamin (200-83, college: W.Virginia St.) scored 8 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Horsens IC have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 20-3 record. SISU lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 14 games lost. Horsens IC will play against Randers (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. SISU's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Copenhagen to the arena Wolfpack.
