Very expected game in Mersin where 10th ranked Orduspor (7-11) was defeated by fifth ranked Adana ASKI (12-6) 76-70 on Wednesday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 25-14 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. The best for the losing side was naturalized American swingman Bahar Ozturk (183-84, college: Connecticut, agency: 1x1 Sports) with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and American swingman Megan Frazee (193-87, college: Liberty) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Four Adana ASKI and five Orduspor players scored in double figures. Adana ASKI maintains fifth position with 12-6 record. Loser Orduspor dropped to the ninth place with 11 games lost. Adana ASKI will face Ormanspor (#13) in Ankara in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Orduspor will play at home against Hatay (#12) and hope to win that game.
