The game in Timisoara supposed to be also worth to mention about. Second ranked CSM Targoviste (22-4) played at the court of 6th ranked Timisoara (15-11). CSM Targoviste smashed Timisoara 68-42. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Timisoara. The game without a history. CSM Targoviste led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Timisoara to just 6 points in second quarter. They outrebounded Timisoara 51-40 including 18 on the offensive glass. American center Jasmine Watson (190-91, college: Massachusetts) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import forward Monique Coker (185-82, college: ODU, agency: Regeneracom Sports) supported her with 12 points and 7 rebounds. CSM Targoviste's coach Dan Fleseriu felt very confident using entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 13 points and 13 rebounds by Serbian power forward Jefimija Karakasevic (191-89) did not help to save the game for Timisoara. Serbian center Jelena Maksimovic (192-82) added 16 points and 7 rebounds for the hosts. Defending champion maintains second position with 22-4 record having just two points less than leader Sf.Gheorghe, which they share with ICIM Arad. Timisoara at the other side keeps the sixth place with 11 games lost.
