Another exciting game was between sixth ranked White Wings and 5th ranked Wuerzburg where White Wings (12-9) crushed Wuerzburg (11-10) on the road with 39-point difference 97-58. White Wings made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Wuerzburg turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Cory Cooperwood (200-88, college: Wright St.) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Christian von Fintel (188-90) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four White Wings players scored in double figures. American guard Donovan Morris (191-84, college: Long Beach St.) replied with 12 points and 7 rebounds and guard Cornelius Hoepfner (188-93) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Wuerzburg. Wuerzburg's coach Soren Zimmermann gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. White Wings moved-up to fourth place in Group South, which they share with Karlsruhe. Wuerzburg lost fifth consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. White Wings will play against league's second-placed Weissenhorn Youngstars at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week.
