There was no surprise when 11th ranked BG Goettingen (11-13) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked ratiopharm Ulm (15-9) 101-85. They made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American forward Will Clyburn (201-90, college: Iowa St.) who scored that evening 21 points and 7 rebounds and Slovenian guard Jaka Klobucar (198-87) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Even 21 points and 8 assists by American guard Alex Ruoff (198-86, college: W.Virginia, agency: KMG Sports Management) did not help to save the game for BG Goettingen. His fellow American import guard David Godbold (196-85, college: Oklahoma) added 20 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. ratiopharm Ulm maintains fifth position with 15-9 record.
