Leader Iserlohn delivered the seventeenth victory. This time they beat 10th ranked Licher Basket (7-14) 70-63. Iserlohn forced 21 Licher Basket turnovers. Guard Jonas Grof (201-96, college: High School) notched 19 points to lead the effort and British forward Orlan Jackman (201-88, college: Oklahoma City) supported him with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Iserlohn's coach Matthias Grothe allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 11 points and 6 assists by American guard Jermale Jones (186-86, college: Tuskegee) did not help to save the game for Licher Basket. Guard Viktor Klassen (186-81) added 9 points and 5 assists for lost side. Newly promoted Iserlohn maintains first position in Group South with 17-4 record. Licher Basket at the other side dropped to the ninth place with 14 games lost. Iserlohn's next round opponent will be Saarlouis (#12) on the road which should be an easy win for them. Licher Basket will play against Fraport Skyliners II and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
