Second Stage Round 5: Horsholm - Lemvig 79-73

Very significant was Horsholm's (#2, 3-2) victory against 4th placed Lemvig (1-4) 79-73. The hosts were ahead by 6 points but lost the second period ending it with a 5-point deficit before their 24-13 run, which allowed them to win the game. Horsholm dominated on the defensive end, holding Lemvig to just 5 points in first quarter. They outrebounded Lemvig 36-21 including 24 on the defensive glass. American center Joy Burke (196-90, college: Arizona St.) nailed a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side and Serbian forward Ivana Jovanovic (185-85) accounted for 16 points and 9 rebounds.
