Undefeated leader Dynamo-NPU delivered the fifth consecutive win on Saturday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Chaika (1-5) 90-47 in Berdiansk. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-47. Dynamo-NPU dominated on the defensive end, holding Chaika to just 4 points in fourth quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Chaika's 38. They outrebounded Chaika 49-29 including a 35-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dynamo-NPU looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The former international swingman Iryna Tsekova (177-78) fired 13 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners. The former international forward Oksana Kisilova (188-88) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Four Dynamo-NPU players scored in double figures. Dynamo-NPU's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Olga Yatskovets (183-97) produced 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Viktoriya Kunda (177-95) added 9 points and 9 assists respectively for lost side. Dynamo-NPU (5-0) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 5 victories in a row. Chaika lost fourth consecutive game.
