No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked Adanaspor (12-11) beat at home 15th ranked Istanbul DSI (6-17) 89-72. Istanbul DSI was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. They outrebounded Istanbul DSI 39-26 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American forward Mike Davis (205-88, college: Illinois) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Kerem Ozkan (201-88) helped adding 23 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). American forward Esian Henderson (206-86, college: Central Mo.) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and Surinamese-Dutch guard Charlon Kloof (190-90, college: St.Bonaventure) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Adanaspor moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Socar Petkim and Yesilgiresun. Istanbul DSI at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Afyon and Pertevniyal. Adanaspor will play against ITU Istanbul (#14) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Istanbul DSI will play against the league's second-placed Buyukcekmece and will have a slim chance for a victory.
