Leader Horsens IC delivered the twenty second victory on Sunday night. This time they crushed 8th ranked Horsholm (9-16) 108-65. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Horsholm. The game without a history. Horsens IC led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Horsholm's 34. They outrebounded Horsholm 44-31 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Horsens IC looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Horsholm's players. Senegalese center Baye Keita (208, college: Syracuse) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and Bosnian swingman Vedran Borovcanin (199-85) chipped in 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Horsens IC's coach Arnel Dedic felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side the former international point guard Frederik Nielsen (180-88) responded with 14 points and Andreas Hoier scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Five Horsens IC and four Horsholm players scored in double figures. Horsens IC (22-3) have an impressive series of thirteen victories in a row. They maintain first place.
