Everything could happen in Ankara at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Trabzonspor and 9th ranked Turk Telekom had identical 9-10 record. But Turk Telekom was not able to use a home court advantage and was smashed by the opponent from Trabzon 100-81 on Sunday night. The game without a history. American power forward Ben McCauley (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) produced 19 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Michael Roll (197-87, college: UCLA) added 12 points respectively for the hosts. Five Trabzonspor and four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Trabzonspor (10-10) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Besiktas. Loser Turk Telekom keeps the ninth position with 11 games lost. Trabzonspor will face Royal Hali (#12) in Gaziantep in the next round where they are favorite. Turk Telekom will play on the road against Tofas in Bursa and hope to win that game.
