Very expected game when 13th ranked Silute (13-25) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Palanga (21-17) 74-68 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 74-68. It was a great evening for center Adomas Drungilas (203-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Deividas Keburys (202-90) helped adding 8 points and 12 rebounds. Palanga's coach Paulius Barkus used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was American guard Bryce Cartwright (189-90, college: Iowa) with 29 points and center Edgaras Sosnovskis (206-91) scored 8 points and 14 rebounds. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Palanga. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Nafta-Uni. Silute lost their third game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 25 games lost.
