Regular Season Round 23: Saarlouis - Iserlohn 82-105

Date: March 7, 2015
ProB top team - Iserlohn (18-4) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed twelfth ranked Saarlouis (5-17) 105-82. 24 personal fouls committed by Saarlouis helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was center Marcel Theodor Kessen (207-97) who scored 18 points. American center Matt Kavanaugh (206-91, college: Dayton) chipped in 11 points and 4 assists. Five Iserlohn players scored in double figures. American guard Ricky Easterling (188-83, college: Bridgewater) produced 23 points and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the other American import Karl Moore (203-87, college: Culver Stockton) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Iserlohn. Newly promoted Iserlohn maintains first place in Group South with 18-4 record. Saarlouis at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keep the twelfth position with 17 games lost.
