Regular Season Round 16: Hrastnik - Crnomelj 75-79

Very expected game when 10th ranked Hrastnik (4-12) lost at home to fourth ranked Crnomelj (10-6) 79-75 on Saturday. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 29-17. But Hrastnik won third quarter 23-7. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by guard Crt Ristic (182-89) who scored that evening 23 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Anze Cerkovnik (200-86) supported him with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Five Crnomelj players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) by forward Tadej Tusek (194-80) did not help to save the game for Hrastnik. Guard Klemen Pozin (181-95) added 15 points and 4 assists for lost side. Crnomelj maintains fourth position with 10-6 record. Loser Hrastnik keeps the tenth place with 12 games lost. Crnomelj will meet at home Luxuris Celje (#8) in the next round. Hrastnik will play against Geoplin Slovan in Ljubljana and hope to secure a win.
