The game in Klaipeda was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Ezerunas-Karys (24-14) played at the court of 5th ranked Nafta-Uni. (21-17). Ezerunas-Karys defeated Nafta-Uni. 81-69 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Nafta-Uni.. The game was mostly controlled by Ezerunas-Karys. Nafta-Uni. managed to win second period 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Nafta-Uni. 45-31 including 30 on the defensive glass. Ezerunas-Karys looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Raimundas Ambrulaitis (200-82) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Swingman Gintautas Matulis (195-86) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. Four Ezerunas-Karys players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Laurynas Lucinskas (201-93) who recorded 16 points, 7 rebounds and 8 blocks and swingman Tadas Mazelis (194-92) added 16 points respectively. Ezerunas-Karys moved-up to second place, which they share with Suduva-Mantinga. Loser Nafta-Uni. keeps the fifth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Palanga.
