There was an upset when second-ranked Leotar (14-6) lost on the road to tenth ranked Varda HE (6-14) 82-75 on Saturday. Leotar was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 21-12 charge of Varda HE, which allowed them to win the game. Serbian point guard Nenad Djurdjevic (180-87) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 6 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Serbian guard Miroslav Radic (195-84) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Five Varda HE players scored in double figures.
