Ninth ranked Hoverla (8-17) beat at home 8th ranked BC Odessa (7-16) by 13 points 70-57, which is the biggest margin this round. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Hoverla's pressure prevailed and they won that period 23-12 extending their advantage to 13 points. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Russian center Dmitri Lipovtsev (207-86) notched 10 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and forward Oleksandr Antypov (202-95) supported him with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
