The game between closely ranked teams ended with 11th ranked Muenchen B.'s (2-18) home loss to tenth ranked TSV Amicitia (6-14) 48-62 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by TSV Amicitia. Muenchen B. was better in third quarter 15-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Muenchen B. 44-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Jennifer Mocanu (172-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and swingman Neele Steinort (181-97) who added 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. TSV Amicitia's coach Rene Ullrich allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Power forward Tanja Lehnert (186-92) responded with 14 points and Serbian power forward Jadranka Mladan (183-70) scored 7 points and 9 rebounds. TSV Amicitia moved-up to ninth place in South, which they share with Rhein MB II. Muenchen B. lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 18 games lost. TSV Amicitia will face league's leader Gruner Stern Keltern on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Muenchen B. will play against Trier (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
