The game in Oradea was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Pitesti (12-10) played at the court of eighth ranked Oradea (12-11). Oradea managed to secure a 7-point victory 104-97 on Friday. Pitesti was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Oradea shot 61.0 percent from the field and made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Oradea especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Australian-Trinidad and Tobago guard Daniel Dillon (193-86, college: Arizona) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists and Montenegrin swingman Vujadin Subotic (198-81, agency: 011 Sports) who added 25 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard Ronald Ross (188-83, college: Texas Tech, agency: LUMANI 10.7) with 29 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and Montenegrin center Stevan Milosevic (211-85, agency: Interperformances) scored 14 points and 4 assists. Oradea maintains eighth position with 12-11 record. Loser Pitesti keeps the sixth place with ten games lost. They share the position with BC Timisoara. Oradea will meet higher ranked BC Timisoara (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Pitesti will play against CSU Sibiu and hope to secure a win.
