Leader Denizli delivered the twentieth victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Meliksah (16-9) 89-69 in Pamukkale. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Meliksah. The game without a history. Denizli led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Meliksah to just 6 points in third quarter. Denizli shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Osiris Eldridge (191-88, college: Illinois St.) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Mehmet Ozdogan (198-87) contributed with 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. American point guard Leemire Goldwire (182-85, college: Charlotte, agency: Two Points) answered with 16 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Meliksah. Four Meliksah players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Denizli have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 20-5 record. Newly promoted Meliksah dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. They share it with Akhisar Bld. Denizli will play against Pertevniyal (#15) in Istanbul in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Meliksah will play at home against Gelisim (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
