Regular Season Round 32: Ferro-ZNTU - BC Odessa 109-76

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Ferro-ZNTU (12-15) crushed 9th ranked BC Odessa (8-18) in Zaporozhye 109-76. The game was mostly controlled by Ferro-ZNTU. BC Odessa was better in third quarter 18-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ferro-ZNTU forced 20 BC Odessa turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Maks Adam Konate (200-91) who scored 33 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds (on 14-of-16 shooting from the field). Guard Alexander Rybalko (190-79) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Ferro-ZNTU players scored in double figures. Forward Yaroslav Skrypets (195-91) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and forward Mikita Nayko (192-92) added 18 points respectively for the guests. BC Odessa's coach Oleg Yushkin gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Ferro-ZNTU maintains sixth position with 12-15 record. BC Odessa lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 18 games lost. Ferro-ZNTU's next round opponent will be higher ranked Cherkasy (#5) on the road and it may be quite challenging game. BC Odessa will play against Halychyna (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
