An interesting game for Dynamo-NPU (8-0) which hosted in Kyiv 4th placed Suzirja (1-7). Leader Dynamo-NPU had an easy win 83-50. The game without a history. Dynamo-NPU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Suzirja's 32 and made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Suzirja 41-20 including a 36-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dynamo-NPU players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Suzirja's players. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. The former international forward Oksana Kisilova (188-88) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and the former international forward Natalia Zherzherunova (183-79) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Dynamo-NPU's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was forward Iryna Basalyk (176-85) with 17 points and 4 assists and Oleksandra Popenko (170-98) scored 13 points and 4 steals. Dynamo-NPU maintains first place in League with 8-0 record. Suzirja at the other side dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. Dynamo-NPU will play against Frankivsk (#3) in Ivano-Frankivsk in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Suzirja will play on the road against Chaika in Berdiansk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
