There was no surprise when 9th ranked Rhein MB II (6-15) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked ASC Theresianum Mainz (12-9) 71-64 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 41-30 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. ASC Theresianum Mainz forced 20 Rhein MB II turnovers. The best player for the winners was Czech center Gabriela Jandova (190-73) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Lilian Koch (180-90) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Four ASC Theresianum Mainz players scored in double figures.
