Very important is a road loss of second ranked Zepter Vienna (21-9) against eighth ranked Arkadia Lions (14-16) on Sunday night. Visiting Zepter Vienna was defeated by Arkadia Lions in Traiskirchen 78-66. The game was mostly controlled by Arkadia Lions. Zepter Vienna was better in fourth quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Arkadia Lions players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Zepter Vienna's players. The former international forward Florian Trmal (199-89, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 29 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Benedikt Danek (176-86) chipped in 9 points and 12 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Serbian Predrag Miletic (193-84) with 11 points and 7 rebounds and American swingman Bryant Matthews (201-82, college: Virginia Tech) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Four Zepter Vienna players scored in double figures. Arkadia Lions have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Oberwart. Zepter Vienna at the other side keeps the second position with nine games lost. Arkadia Lions will play against higher ranked Dukes (#6) in Klosterneuburg in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Zepter Vienna will play at home against Redwell Gunners Oberwart (#7) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
