Regular Season Round 22: Osmaniye - Botas 72-60

Bottom-ranked Osmaniye managed to get a third victory, breaking the ten-game losing streak. This time newly promoted Osmaniye won against ninth-ranked Botas 72-60. The game was mostly controlled by Osmaniye. Botas was better in fourth quarter 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Osmaniye forced 19 Botas turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American D'Andra Moss (178-88, college: VCU) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds. French point guard Lucie Bouthors (174-88) contributed with 21 points for the winners. American forward Lauren Ervin (191-85, college: Arkansas, agency: Two Points) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds and the former international forward Elif Emirtekin (184-94) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Botas. Botas' coach Ceyhun Yildizoglu rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Osmaniye maintains fourteenth position with 3-19 record. Botas at the other side dropped to the eighth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Orduspor. Osmaniye will play against higher ranked Hatay (#12) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Botas will play against Fenerbahce (#3) having rather not much hope for a victory.
