Very predictable result when second ranked Buyukcekmece (20-6) rolled over at home 14th ranked ITU Istanbul (8-18) 100-75. The game without a history. Buyukcekmece led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard D.J. Thompson (173-85, college: Appalachian St.) who scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Power forward Orbay Kaya (205-82) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Buyukcekmece players scored in double figures.
