No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Cherno More (13-7) beat 7th ranked Yambol (7-14) in Varna 91-83. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Cherno More dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Yambol's 28. They outrebounded Yambol 45-28 including a 19-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Montenegrin power forward Milos Komatina (205-84) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian power forward Miljan Pupovic (210-83) helped adding 14 points and 8 rebounds. Five Cherno More players scored in double figures. The former international Martin Durchev (204-87, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 25 points and 4 assists and Croatian forward Toni Brnas (201-91) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cherno More have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Levski Sofia. Yambol at the other side keeps the seventh position with 14 games lost. Cherno More will play against league's second-placed Balkan in Botevgrad in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Yambol will have a break next round.
