Second Stage Round 10: Chaika - Frankivsk 65-95

The game in Berdiansk supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Frankivsk (6-3) played at the court of 6th ranked Chaika (1-8). Frankivsk smashed Chaika 95-65. Frankivsk players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. International swingman Krystyna Matsko (182-91) notched a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and international forward Darya Zavidna (185-93) supported her with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Even 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by center Olga Yatskovets (183-97) did not help to save the game for Chaika. Guard Natalia Perepelitsa (174-96) added 19 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Five Frankivsk and four Chaika players scored in double figures. Frankivsk maintains third position in League with 6-3 record having just three points less than leader Dynamo-NPU. Chaika at the other side keeps the sixth place with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
