Quarter-Finals Round 3: MTK - MKB Eurl.Vasas 67-75

The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. MKB Eurl.Vasas dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to MTK's 26 and made 24-of-31 free shots (77.4 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by MTK helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for international center Bernadett Hatar (208-94) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Nina Aho (174-97) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Four MKB Eurl.Vasas players scored in double figures. Guard Bettina Baksa (175-92) answered with 21 points and the former international power forward Nikoletta Turoczi (188-80) added 13 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for MTK. MTK's coach Stevan Cupic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
