Second Stage Round 11: Frankivsk - Dynamo-NPU 65-68

The most exciting game of round 11 in the National League took place in Ivano-Frankivsk. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 3rd placed Frankivsk (6-4) to leader Dynamo-NPU (10-0) 68-65 on Friday evening. Frankivsk was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 20-12 charge of Dynamo-NPU, which allowed them to win the game. They made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Dynamo-NPU outrebounded Frankivsk 42-26 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for the former international forward Oksana Kisilova (188-88) who led her team to a victory scoring 20 points and 9 rebounds. The former international swingman Iryna Tsekova (177-78) helped adding 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. International swingman Krystyna Matsko (182-91) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and Nataliya Skorbatyuk (183-95) scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Frankivsk players scored in double figures. Dynamo-NPU have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain first place with 10-0 record, which they share with Tavriyska Zivka. Frankivsk at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost.
