Second Stage Round 11: Blyskavky - Interkhim 53-81

The game between Top Four teams took place in Vinnytsia. 4th placed host Blyskavky (2-8) was smashed by second ranked Interkhim (8-2) 81-53. The game without a history. Interkhim led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Blyskavky to just 7 points in second quarter. Interkhim held Blyskavky to an opponent 24.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 50.8 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Blyskavky 61-18 including a 43-10 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was an exceptional evening for forward Olga Borisenko (185-90) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 19 rebounds. Forward Kateryna Kovalyova (185-89) accounted for 20 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Five Interkhim players scored in double figures. Iryna Zhmurko (181-96) came up with 16 points and point guard Viktoriya Ilchyshyna (168-91) added 12 points and 4 steals respectively for Blyskavky in the defeat. Interkhim maintains second place with 8-2 record having just two points less than leader Tavriyska Zivka. Blyskavky at the other side keeps the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with Chaika and Suzirja.
