Very expected game when 11th ranked Gediz (13-15) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Akhisar Bld (19-9) 75-66 on Saturday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Gediz won third quarter 20-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Akhisar Bld made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Center Hakan Yapar (202-84) fired 9 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Guard Omer Sancakli (195-92, agency: 1x1 Sports) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds.
