Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Istanbul Universitesi (17-9) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Osmaniye (5-21) 93-81 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 93-81. American center Courtney Paris (191-87, college: Oklahoma) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds. Lithuanian guard Kamile Nacickaite (181-89, college: Drexel) contributed with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Five Istanbul Universitesi players scored in double figures. American D'Andra Moss (178-88, college: VCU) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and her fellow American import center Stefanie Dolson (196-92, college: Connecticut) added 18 points in the effort for Osmaniye. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Istanbul Universitesi maintains fourth position with 17-9 record. Newly promoted Osmaniye stay dead last with 21 lost games.
