Regular Season Round 18: Zolotoi Vek - Avangard 78-90

The game between Top Four teams took place in Kirovograd. 3rd ranked host Zolotoi Vek (13-8) lost to first ranked Avangard (19-5) 90-78. The guests trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 7-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 90-78. Avangard made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. Forward Vladlen Berezhnyy (199-95) scored 15 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Maxim Balashov (190-80, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) chipped in 17 points during the contest.
