It looked good early as PEAC-Pecs took a 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then UNI Gyor took control winning two of next three quarters and eventually winning the game that evening by 13 points. UNI Gyor forced 20 PEAC-Pecs turnovers. The former international power forward Anna Vajda (191-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds for the winners and international guard Anna Lakloth (181-88, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 12 points and 8 assists. Four UNI Gyor players scored in double figures. At the losing side Australian point guard Natalie Hurst (164-83) responded with 16 points and Serbian Nevena Jovanovic (182-90) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. PEAC-Pecs' coach Zeljko Djokic tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
