Seventh-ranked Yesilgiresun (16-13) was very close to win a game against second ranked Sakarya BSB (23-6) in Sakaraya on Saturday. Sakarya BSB managed to secure only two-point victory 74-72. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Yesilgiresun. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 19-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American LaceDarius Dunn (193-87, college: Baylor, agency: Three Eye Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 8 rebounds. American-Puerto Rican point guard TreVon Hughes (184-87, college: Wisconsin) contributed with 9 points and 5 assists for the winners. Sakarya BSB's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Patrick Miller (185-92, college: Tennessee St.) answered with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and forward Tufan Onen (202-89) added 17 points in the effort for Yesilgiresun. Four Yesilgiresun players scored in double figures. Sakarya BSB have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Denizli.
