UNI Gyor escaped with a narrow road win over PEAC-Pecs and celebrated the Bronze medals. The guests trailed by 16 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 3 points. UNI Gyor made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. It was a good game for the former international power forward Anna Vajda (191-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds. International guard Anna Lakloth (181-88, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 19 points and 6 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) for the winners. Four UNI Gyor players scored in double figures. American power forward Destiny Williams (185-91, college: Baylor) answered with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds and Australian point guard Natalie Hurst (164-83) added 20 points and 6 assists in the effort for PEAC-Pecs. PEAC-Pecs' coach Zeljko Djokic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
